# Moon

The **Moon** tokens are one of the ways to measure the value of the **EvMoon**protocol and the shareholder trust in its ability to maintain **Earth's** peg.

During epoch expansions, the protocol mints **Earth** and distributes it proportionally to all **Moon** holders who have staked their tokens in the Boardroom.

The maximum supply of **Moon** is 70,000 tokens, distributed as follows:

* Farming pool allocation: 60,000 **Moon**
* Dev Fund: 5,000 **Moon VESTED**
* DAO/community fund: 5,000 **Moon** 

**Moon** liquidity will be provided by the high APR farms that will be running as the protocol launches. **Moon** will eventually be used for governance of the EvMoon ecosystem, including voting on investments and NFT acquirements.
