# Earth

The **Earth** token is the main token of **EvMoon**, and has been designed to be used as a medium of exchange within the EVMOS protocol. It is intended to maintain peg of at least 1:1 with EVMOS.

Note that **Earth** **actively pegs to EVMOS via the algorithm.** It **does not mean** it will be valued at 1 EVMOS at all times, as it is not officially collateralised.<br>

The maximum supply of **Earth** is 50,000 tokens, distributed as follows:

* Genesis pool allocation: 45,000 **Earth**
