# Worm Hole (Boardroom)

### The Boardroom

In the Boardroom, you earn **Earth**by staking your **Moon**. The Boardroom will continue to distribute **Earth** for as long as **Earth** is above 1 EVMOS. \

By staking Moon in the Boardroom, you are locking those Moon tokens for 6 epochs (each epoch is 6 hours). Rewards generated by the Boardroom will be locked for 3 epochs before you can claim them, and withdrawing/depositing/claiming either Earth rewards or your Moon tokens will reset the timer.<br>

The Boardroom is a key part of the **EvMoon** ecosystem, turning functionality on and off depending on the TWAP of **Earth**. This is yet another mechanism **Earth** uses to maintain peg.
