Bridging

EVMOS is a brand new Layer 1 network built on Cosmos and Ethereum. Getting funds to early networks is often the most difficult part, as there is generally a lack of bridge liquidity. So here, we outline the best way to get funds onto EVMOS. Available Bridges One of the cheapest and fastest bridge currently is Celer Networkarrow-up-right, with good liquidity on native tokens. However, you will not receive gas money from the bridge when you make it on EVMOS chain so please take that into account. Nomadarrow-up-right is significantly slower, taking around an hour and you will pay higher gas fees than you would on Celer, but you do receive a small amount of EVMOS to pay gas fees with. Connext bridgearrow-up-right (was xPollinate) is the best route from Cronos to EVMOS at the moment. Specific Chain Guides Getting from Osmosis to EVMOS: Swap UST for CRO β€”β€”-> bridge native CRO to Cronos CRO -β€”β€”> swap this for USDC -β€”β€”> bridge USDC from Cronos to evmos with Connext bridge More to come. Faucets for gas money can be found at https://faucet.evmos.dev/arrow-up-right and at https://stakely.io/en/faucet/evmos-evmarrow-up-right.
