Bridging

EVMOS is a brand new Layer 1 network built on Cosmos and Ethereum. Getting funds to early networks is often the most difficult part, as there is generally a lack of bridge liquidity. So here, we outline the best way to get funds onto EVMOS. Available Bridges One of the cheapest and fastest bridge currently is Celer Network, with good liquidity on native tokens. However, you will not receive gas money from the bridge when you make it on EVMOS chain so please take that into account. Nomad is significantly slower, taking around an hour and you will pay higher gas fees than you would on Celer, but you do receive a small amount of EVMOS to pay gas fees with. Connext bridge (was xPollinate) is the best route from Cronos to EVMOS at the moment. Specific Chain Guides Getting from Osmosis to EVMOS: Swap UST for CRO ——-> bridge native CRO to Cronos CRO -——> swap this for USDC -——> bridge USDC from Cronos to evmos with Connext bridge More to come. Faucets for gas money can be found at https://faucet.evmos.dev/ and at https://stakely.io/en/faucet/evmos-evm.
